Today is just another day in my life of almost 62 years.
some people believe that a birthday or wedding anniversary is a very special day in life. However i find it otherwise. I find that any day can be made a special day.
It is me, "I" that make it special. Every morning as i leave the bed i say a little prayer and ask the Gods that i pray to make the day a special day, full of enjoyment, of happiness and joy - so that i may laugh and make others laugh.
As i step out of my house i feel the cool refreshing breeze brush my face bringing out a tiny shiver of pleasure. Isn't it lovely after a muggy night? An early morning bird chirps out a few notes of its morning raga and then flirts out of one tree onto another.
As i walk on the dark night very gradually thins and moves on slowly to a faint light. A gradual pink glow takes on on the eastern sky - bringing with a promise of hope.
But at each step it is you or your mental make up which allows you to enjoy these natural joys or take these small natural events or simply treat them as pedantry every day events.
Now you know why it is you which decides whether today is special or not?
